Cakes for 2020

 Elijah couldn't decide on a topic, so we thought of the Mandalorian Series we were all looking forward to seeing.  

Josiah this year needed a great cake, but with a little sophistication being 16 years old.  We 3D printed the numbers the night before his birthday party.

Inspired from Fortnite

Solid block of royal icing for the crate with details added (including painting with food colouring). The balloon used a sistema container covered in icing - so the bbq skewer would go all the way through.

 For my youngest - 10th Birthday

Elijah decided on a Groot Cake, which was fun to make.  The eyes are white royal icing and then painted with food colouring to get the brown with large black pupils.

 
For my eldest - 13th Birthday
Josiah picked a Plants vs Zombies cake from a picture he found.  We chose to just give the Zombie a tie.

Bob (Monsters Vs Aliens) Cake

Made a cake for a fundraiser for my son's school last night. Turned out well. I put a fondant iced BOB on the top (from Monsters Vs Aliens). I worked well and didn't take long - as I had made the cake for my son's birthday last year.
